Plan to attend and see His Grace, Bishop Paul who will be visiting our parish on Wednesday, March 7 for Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts. As usual, a Lenten Potluck will follow service.
The Chicago Deanery invites you to take part in Lenten Vespers and fellowship with your sisters and brother throught the deanery. "Let us be at one in prayer and goodwill." Services begin at 6pm.
There will be a short talk on an aspect of mission at the end of each service, followed by refreshments and fellowship.
St Elizabeth Orthodox Church will be hosting Deanery Lenten Vespers on Sunday, March 18 at 6pm. We will be providing a Lenten Meal after Vespers. See sign-up during coffee hour to see how you can help with this event!

Our Parish's Annual Meeting was on Sunday Feb 11, following a delightful potluck luncheon. Thankfully many were in attendance in spite of the snowy weather!
St Elizabeth Choir participated in the Duneland Advent Festival held at St Patrick Catholic Church in Chesterton.
St Elizabeth recently held Bake Sale booths at two events: the Holidaze Sell-A-Bration Arts & Crafts Show at the Vaparaiso Expo Center and the Chesterton Hometown Holiday Event. These events were held the weekend before and after Thanksgiving. Many specialty and ethnic treats were sold including our ever popular Nut Roll. (Photos coming soon.)
The St Elizabeth Cookie Booth at the 59th Annual Chesterton Art Fair was held on August 5th & 6th. Members volunteered to bake and cover sales while the booth was open to everyone who visited the Art Fair.
Pysanky artist, LInda Teets, is offering instruction to anyone who would like to learn this traditional form of art. Sundays during coffee hour.
